About Yasmine Boulos
Registered Provisional Psychologist
Yasmine completed her Master of Education in School and Applied Child Psychology at the University of Calgary. She completed her first and second practicum placement at the Integrated Services for Education (ISE) Clinic at the University of Calgary, and her final internship placement at Little Oaks Psychology. Yasmine has experience conducting psychoeducational assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. She provides comprehensive assessments and evidence-based interventions for individuals with various learning, social, and emotional-behavioural concerns. In addition, Yasmine has five years of experience working with youth who experience(d) trauma, and delivering inclusive education programming in a school setting.
Yasmine believes that assessments can be an empowering tool that can help someone better understand themselves to support them best. An individual can succeed and accomplish whatever they wish to, when all factors in that individual's life are working together to support them. Yasmine believes that “you are the expert on you,” and her goal is to affirm that by helping people identify their areas of strength, and vulnerabilities, and working with them to develop strategies that work best for them.
