Elise is passionate about working with young children and families to help them feel more connected and confident in their relationships. She works with clients to empower them to build skills to face many challenges, such as developmental delays, ADHD, anxiety, autism, depression, OCD, ODD and parenting coaching. Elise also has experience working with trauma survivors. Her approach to counselling is person-centered and focusses on expanding existing strengths as well as learning about the client’s unique life experience. She draws on cognitive behavioural, and emotion focused therapy to guide her work. She is also open to using art-based and play interventions to help clients express themselves. Elise primarily works with children, teens, parents, and adults seeking individual counselling.
